The Tomtaklintschool
On 20 August 2003 the new Tomtaklintschool was inaugurated by the Foreign Minister Anna Lindh, who was stabbed to death only two weeks later.
The school is built in the same place as the old one that had to be demolished because the roof fell in.
The new two-storey building is very modern with big, airy and light spaces.
The school has about 280 students in grade 7 – 9 and about 20 teachers. English, Spanish, German and French are the four languages you can learn in this school.
The school has a youth recreation centre that is well visited during the breaks. In grade 1 – 9 pupils in Sweden don’t have to pay for their school equipment and their school lunches.
